It has been almost 5 years since I said goodbye to my Best Friend of 15 1/2 years. And it has been just over one year since my Beautiful Princess was taken from me so suddenly. I think about both of them every day, and I remember all of the good times that we had together. As a way to pay tribute and to show my love and respect i created a memorial garden in the yard that they loved to play in.

The sting of death still returns from time to time. But I try not to dwell on it. Instead, I choose to remember them for their unconditional love, their beautiful spirits and the time that we shared. I gave them the knowledge they needed to live among humans, but they gave me so much more. They taught me about myself! This memorial stands as a testament to both of their lives as well as their memory. I tend it every day and take care of it, just as I watched over them in life. The love and care I put into it is my way of showing them I still think of them each and every day.
