Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Decoder MN12 Fords

The Vehicle Identification Number or (VIN) it what sets your vehicles apart from the millions of other vehicles on the road. It is the fingerprint of your car. In later years it is reflected in 17 digit characters. Along with providing you with your vehicle's  unique identification, It displays what equipment your car was original equipment and also track recalls, registrations, warranty claims, thefts and insurance coverage. Each character in your VIN has a purpose.

The chart below is for a MN12 Ford Products. MN12 Ford Products include 1989-1997 Ford Thunderbirds and Mercury Cougars and 1993-1998 Lincoln Mark VIII's.
