Brandon Ellis'
1995 Thunderbird Super Coupe

I am currently enrolled in classes at Iowa State University and I am a sophomore in Accounting. It's going fairly well for me this year and I chose Iowa State because I wanted to be part of the best marching band in the state and we prove that each year.

Marching band and studying takes up a lot of my time, but I am also working at the dining services to help pay for my beauty of a car. I live in an apartment off campus and I have the luxury of storing my car in a garage all the time.

In mid June of this summer, I was looking for a car to take place my 1992 Dodge Daytona. (It had frustrated me with problems for long enough). I was looking for rear-wheel-drive and a 5-speed and I decided that I was not settling for anything less.

I happened to come across this classified ad on Yahoo.com for a 1995 Thunderbird SC and at the time I didn’t even know what an SC was. I did however know the car was a 5-speed and rear-wheel-drive from the ad. So I buzzed up to Manchester to check it out one weekend and liked it so much I told the guy I was going to the bank first thing on Monday morning.

Well by Wednesday of that week I had gotten my loan approved and I went back to purchase that T-Bird. I am 120% satisfied with the car and don’t think I will ever have any regrets on making the investment. It has taken a little convincing of my parents but it was well worth the effort.

I do have a personal goal for the Iowa SC club, although all of our SC’s look mighty fine, I am going to try and keep mine as one of the fastest ones in the club to keep all the other members on their toes. That means I will be working and saving for the “mods” for my car all winter and as soon as it gets warm out, I start putting them on the car. The only “extras” on the car right now is my Eclipse CD receiver, Alpine Amp, and 2 – 10” subs (but every SC needs to have a kick butt radio!).

To keep my SC in as prime condition as possible, I recently bought a 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC to use as a daily driver and for winter use. I figure a $500 investment to protect a my Thunderbird SC is the smartest thing I could’ve done. That is it for now, everyone take care, safe driving, and enjoy!!!!
